September 22nd, 2012 - Henderson Motorsports entered a single event over the weekend as they traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night for a $3,000-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) event. Thirty-seven Super Late Model pilots took part in the event, and Scott Creel started his night by qualifying third fastest in his group to lock into the pole sitter's dash. After finishing third in the dash Creel started third in the 50 lap feature, and would race in the top five for the duration of the event before finishing fifth behind race winner, Chris Wall, Wendell Wallace, BJ Robinson, and Dingus Griffin.

Leon Henderson began his night by qualifying seventeenth fastest in his group, which resulted in him starting thirteenth in the first b-main. Despite starting deep in the b-main grid, Henderson mounted a great charge as he advanced ten spots to finish in the third position. His b-main performance locked him into the thirteenth starting spot for the finale. He raced around mid-pack for the duration of the feature before registering a fourteenth place finish. September 15th, 2012 - It was back to business in the state of Mississippi on Saturday night as Henderson Motorsports team drivers, Leon Henderson and Scott Creel, went into battle in a $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) event at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi). Twenty-six Super Late Models registered for action, and after qualifying second fastest in his group Henderson earned a spot in the pole-sitter's dash. An eighth place finish in the dash resulted in Leon starting eighth on the grid for the 50 lap feature. He would battle in the top ten early in the event before handling issues resulted in him retiring to an eighteenth place finish.

Scott Creel qualified sixth fastest in his group, which left him two spots short of locking into the feature. As a result he was forced to run a b-main. In the b-main bad luck would strike in the form of mechanical problems, which forced him pitside. Despite not reaching a transfer spot to the feature, he received a series provisional to start 22nd on the grid. He would go on to advance eight spots to a fourteenth place finish.

1September 8th, 2012 - The 42nd Annual World 100 at the famed Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) was the team's destination for the weekend. The $50,000-to-win race drew a field of 123 competitors to the 1/2 mile oval, and on Friday evening Mother Nature would be the big winner as rain nixed qualifying early in the going. As a result time trials were rescheduled for Saturday afternoon. For Leon Henderson his event would end before it ever got started as radiator issues in hot laps forced him to scratch from the balance of the program.

For Scott Creel the turn one wall would be a nemesis as contact with it on his timed lap resulted in only the 103 fastest lap, and as a result he had to run a qualifier's race. After starting seventh on the grid in the qualifier's race he would bolt to the front of the pack on his way to the $1,000 win and a trophy. The win in the qualifier also earned him the fifteenth starting spot for a heat race, but his heat race outing would end on the first lap after a trio of competitors tangled in front of him. Creel would be unable to avoid the melee, and received enough damage to force him to retire from the program. Full results from the weekend are available at www.EldoraSpeedway.com.
