1September 7th, 2013 - After two weeks away from the track Leon Henderson and David Breazeale went into competition with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Models over the weekend in a pair of events.

Action opened with a $2,000-to-win race on Friday night at Hattiesburg Motorsports Park (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), where 18 cars signed in for battle. Breazeale qualified 2nd fastest to lock into the dash, while Henderson was 7th fastest, which also sent him to the dash. Via their dash performances Breazeale started 3rd in the feature with Henderson starting 8th in the 40 lap finale. The main event would find Breazeale crossing the finish line in 2nd behind race winner, Chris Wall, while Henderson registered a 15th place finish.

Saturday night took the team to Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi), where an extremely rough and fast track awaited the competitors. Both drivers raced their way into the twenty car starting grid for the feature, but would retire early due to damage from the track. Breazeale finished 11th with Henderson crossing the line in 13th.
