1May 25th, 2013 - The team traveled to Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night for a $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) program. David Breazeale started the night by setting fast time honors around the 1/3 mile oval to lock into the pole sitter's dash. A third place finish in the dash left him starting third in the feature. Breazeale battled in the top five throughout the event, and even overcame a piece of lead from another car coming into his cockpit during the race to record a sixth place finish.

Leon Henderson finished fourth in his qualifier to lock into the eighteenth starting spot for the finale, and he raced his way to a sixteenth place finish. Full results from the event are available at www.StateSeries.com.

1May 18th, 2013 - It was a busy weekend for Henderson Motorsports with David Breazeale and Leon Henderson competing in different events.

Leon Henderson traveled to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Saturday night for a $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event at the 1/4 mile oval. Twenty-three competitors entered the program, and preliminary action found Leon locking into the twelfth starting spot for the main event. As the feature went green he quickly worked his way into the top ten and went on to record a ninth place finish at the checkered flag. 1David Breazeale traveled to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) over the weekend in his #54 Henderson Motorsports/Mastersbilt/Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model for the 2nd Annual Bad Boy 98, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at the 3/8 mile oval. Forty competitors converged on the facility for the $20,000-to-win program, and heat race action on Friday evening found Breazeale finishing sixth. As a result he started fourth in a b-main on Saturday night, and would challenge for a transfer spot for the duration of the consolation race before falling one spot short of making the cut as his weekend came to an early end.
